We prefer every individual to place a card on file to reserve an appointment. Only one card is needed to reserve a group appointment. Please call (480) 778-9240 or text (480) 941-6659 to book if you do not wish to place your card on file.
Please have inspo photos ready if you are getting nail art. There is an option to add inspo photos to your appointment when you book online, but please have access to them on your phone during your appointment.
If you are bringing in a photo of a color you want, please have the brand and name of said color. We will try our best to color match, but without the brand and name, it is impossible to match it 100%.
To prevent long wait and unnecessary stress for both clients and techs, please notify us in advance if you would like to add additional service(s) or enhancement(s) to your appointment that you think may require additional time (chrome, french, ombre, cat eye, nail art, etc). We will always try our best to accomodate you, but without advance notice, it is not guaranteed.
Because we take both appointments and walk-ins, and accommodate clients who add last minute services and enhancements, we could some time run behind schedule. We do our best to reach out to our clients with live updates on wait time to prevent long physical wait time in the salon. To help prevent other guests from waiting too long, please refer back to our salon etiquette.
Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment to use the restroom, choose color, order your beverage, and settle in. In the event that you are running late, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible, so that we can make arrangements to accommodate you. Again, we will always try our best to accommodate you, but without advance notice, it is not guaranteed.
We kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you must reschedule or cancel your appointment. In the event that you no show, you will receive a strike. After 3 strikes, you will be require to pay a $20 deposit to book future appointments.
Repairs must be booked within seven days of your appointment with the tech who did your nails prior to damage to avoid a fee. Repairs are subject to a small fee if booked outside of the seven days, with a different tech, or damage was caused on your behalf. We understand if you cannot make it to the salon within 7 days of nail damage, however, mention of damage must be documented and appointment must be booked within 7 days to avoid fee. No exceptions.
Refund will not be given if...
-You don't like the color you picked
-You don't like the length of your nails after you have given your tech permission to trim them
-You don't like the shape of your nails because you changed your mind
-Your nails doesn't look exactly like your inspo photo(s)
However, if you are owed a refund, it will be credited back as salon credit. Good news is - your credit never expires!
At the end of the day, we enforce more policies than a typical nail salon because we are not a typical nail salon. We set standards to ensure a healthy and minimal stress environment for our clients and techs because everyone's time, money, and mental health is valuable.
By confirming your appointment via text, email, or over the phone with a salon associate, you are stating that you have read and agreed to all of Nails on Shea's policies.

My name is Jenny and I am the new owner of Nails & Spa by Bobbie, now renamed Serene Nail Bar. We have quite the history - We opened our first salon on Scottsdale Rd and Indian School with huge success. A year later, our building was purchased by the Marriott, so we were forced to move. If you drive by there today, you will see our sign is still up! We ended up moving to Scottsdale Rd and Oak. I sold that salon in June 2025 and purchased Bobbie's a week later. This will be my third Serene Nail Bar ALSO on Scottsdale Rd (and Shea) and I'm hoping third time's a charm!
